How We Keep Tree Work Safe (For Everyone Involved)
Tree work isn’t just chainsaws and sawdust. It’s planning. It’s watching each other’s backs. It’s knowing that getting the job done right means getting it done safe. Every time.
We don’t treat safety like a checklist or a morning formality. It’s in the way we move, talk, and think. From the first site walk to the final rake-up, our crew is working with intention. Here's what that looks like.
The Right Tools Make a Difference
We use professional-grade equipment that actually makes the work safer, not just easier. That includes our spider lift, which lets us reach tough spots without relying on risky climbing when it’s not necessary. More control means less chance of injury, both for our team and for your property.
Standards Matter
We follow OSHA and ANSI safety guidelines not because someone tells us to, but because they’re built on real-world injuries that could’ve been avoided. These standards shape how we set up a job, how we rig a limb, how we clear a site. And we don’t cut corners.
Clear Communication, Even When It’s Loud
Tree work happens in messy spaces. Tight backyards, leaning trunks, weather that changes mid-cut. That’s why we talk a lot. Head nods, hand signals, direct callouts. Everyone on site knows the plan before a saw ever starts. And if something feels off, we pause and rework the plan. No rush jobs here.
Protecting What’s Underneath
Your lawn, your driveway, your garden beds. All of it matters. We use ground protection mats and careful equipment placement to prevent damage before it happens. The tree may be our focus, but your property is part of the job too.
Safety is Culture, Not Policy
You can’t fake a safety culture. It shows up in small decisions. A ground worker double-checking a tie-in. A climber taking the time to reposition a cut. Our crew watches out for one another because they want to. That comes from respect, not rules. And that’s something we’re proud of.
Your Safety Comes First, Too
We don’t just think about ourselves. If you’re nearby while we work, we’ll make sure you know where to stand and when to watch from a distance. We set up clear boundaries and protect anything that could be at risk. If it’s important to you, it’s important to us.
